Our Snagging Surveyor will arrive on site at the time arranged, and carry out a thorough internal and external inspection of the property.

Each inspection typically takes 2-3 hours, depending on the size of the property. Homeowners are of course welcome to attend the inspection, but it is not required.

Later that day, we will provide you with a comprehensive and easy to read PDF report, complete with photos and a detailed description of each defect. This report can then be issued to your developer.

We will continue to offer support and advice, 7 days a week, throughout the builders’ remedial works.

A second inspection should then be carried out to ensure all the defects on the snag list have been fixed. At Snag List Surveys, our reports are so detailed and easy to understand, that the homeowner may feel comfortable doing the second inspection by themselves, using our report as their guide. However, if they would like us to carry out the follow up inspection, this can be arranged at an additional cost of €120.
